It can be a tough job fishing at sea. Denholm Fishselling supports skippers with a range of services to ease the commercial and administrative requirements of operating a fishing vessel and marketing the catch.

Fuel Supply

Supplying marine gas oil to the fishing fleet, salmon well boats and ferries, as well as heating oil to family homes in Mallaig and surrounding areas. Our petrol station in Mallaig trades as Johnston Brothers.

Ship Chandlery

Supplying a large range of products including wire ropes, lubricating oil and hardware.

Fish Sales

Marketing the catch.

Refrigerated Fish Distribution

Transporting fresh fish from Scotland to customers throughout Ireland.

Operating a daily service between Aberdeen - Glasgow - Belfast - Dublin.

Vessel Agency and Administration

Organising any quota that the boat may require.
Maintaining the accounts and settling bills.
Placing insurance.
Assisting in arranging finance.
Putting together projects for the purchase of boats (new and second hand).
Technical and crew management, as necessary, in support of the boat.
