Third Vessel Acquired by Heather Fishing Company

22nd June 2020 | Boat investment

Heather Fishing Company, one of the companies Denholm Fishselling supports through investment, acquired a third vessel in June 2020.  ‘MFV Ocean Rose’, which was renamed from ‘Ocean Challenge’ is a 21.4 metre wooden trawler that was built in 2000 at Macduff Shipyards in Aberdeenshire.  New skippers and crew have been recruited for ‘Ocean Rose’, who will operate independently from Heather Fishing Company’s “pair team”, ‘MFV Boy John’ and ‘MFV Rosebloom’.

Pictured (l-r): ‘MFV Ocean Rose’ (l) next to her ‘new’ sister ships ‘MFV Rosebloom’ and ‘MFV Boy John’.
