On The Move
Denholm Fishselling recently relocated its head office from Inverness to the village of Cawdor, five miles south of Nairn. The new office is a better fit-for-purpose for head office administration.
Meanwhile, the ship chandlery in Buckie relocated to improved facilities in December last year. The former chandlery shop and store was very cramped and had limited access for forklifts and the storage of boat gear. It was also located on a main road, which presented health and safety concerns when loading and unloading fishing gear.
Located much closer to the harbour area, the new premises were previously used as a net making factory. Following recent refurbishment, the property has 168 m² of internal storage and rigging space and over 900 m² of secure outdoor yard space. This ample outdoor storage space will allow Denholm Fishselling to centralise boat gear from around the Buckie harbour area, keeping it secure.
